Uptown Social Wedding

Elizabeth and Nicholas chose one of my favorite weddings for their wedding. There are several great wedding venues around North West Indiana. Each special for it’s own reasons. Uptown social,  (Formerly The Uptown Centre) is unique and offers such a classic background for a wedding.

The space has lovely areas for brides to get ready and that main hall with the old organ pipes is just incredible.

The area outside Uptown social all around Michigan City is full of creative spaces close by. Some couples go a few blocks to the beach, and some stay close by using the painted walls and brick buildings for awesome backgrounds.

I cannot wait to photograph more weddings here. They are currently doing a huge refurbishment of the whole location and I have no doubt it is going to be even better than before.

Their new website is live but waiting for the opening as I write this. I know I am invited to their open house when renovations are done and I will enjoy seeing the new space.

I have been watching their social media page as they have been working and it is already looking wonderful.
