Jessica and Andrew were married this last weekend on 8/1/20. I just delivered their edited wedding this morning. I guess a big bonus of the Covid pandemic is all the spare time on my hand with less weddings going on. Four days is nearly unheard of in the wedding photo business haha. But I had the time and I was that excited about editing the photos.

Four Corners Winery & Wedding Venue in Valparaiso is so awesome for small weddings. I was really excited when I arrived at Four Corners Winery and saw how much work the florist had put in already. I had arrived early, like I always do and had time to capture all the details and flowers and the venue before the bride and bridesmaids arrived for photos. They had chosen a baseball theme, with each table named after a team, and the head table was The Field of Dreams naturally.

The girls all arrived mid afternoon and we did some photos outside by the vineyard.

Candid Unscripted Moments

A favorite moment was in the vineyard when the mother of the bride surprised the bride with a handkerchief her own mother had used at her wedding. It is moments like this that make my job so awesome. Raw, unscripted and full of feels.

There were lots of moments like this. Jessica and Andrew had written vows to each other that only they read. It was precious watching them read them before the ceremony.

After a ceremony led by the brides two brothers, it was time to dance and drink! Oh and have an awesome messy cake smash haha. I think this photo sums up the whole day well. Fun and spontaneous.
