So many things I could say about Emma and Brent and their Marquette Park Pavilion wedding.
I have known Emma and her family for several years. She had me do her senior photos a few years ago.
I was so excited that she contacted me to photograph her wedding!
Emma and Brent chose to do a sunset engagement session at Marquette Park. I always enjoy beach sessions and well sunsets are my absolute favorite time of the day for photography. The sky was wonderful and they were both so easy to photograph.
Wedding day was just as wonderful and we started with a first look and some formal photos before a wonderful outdoor ceremony.
One of my favorite parts of the whole day was during the ceremony. Emma and Brent chose to wash each others feet. It is a tradition not seen very often at weddings any more. It is symbolic of serving each other and I think it’s a great reminder of the special nature of a marriage and supporting each other.
The reception hall at Marquette Park Pavilion is a photographers dream inside. There is natural light, high curved white ceiling and beautiful floors. Throw in some uplighting after the sun goes down and it just looks good in any photo.
I always love it when a dj throws down some fog! It sure made the father daughter dance dramatic.
I was hoping all day that we would get a good sunset. It would be so fitting after the great sunset at their engagement session. We snuck outside for five minutes during dinner and well the sunset did not disappoint. Maybe it had more to do with how photogenic these two are, but it was the best five minutes of my day haha.
Well I have rambled on enough. I hope you enjoyed this Marquette Park Pavilion Wedding as much as I did. Here are some favorites from the day!
