Wedding Sunsets are a Bonus!

I wish every wedding had a venue with great sunsets. I wish every wedding had time for sunset photos. Truth be told, most venues lack a good sunset, and those that have one seldom plan dinner and speeches around them. That said there are a few weddings every season where I can sneak a couple out for 15 minutes and nail a few quick sunset photos. I think they are worth the time as long as it fits into the schedule at receptions.

Sometimes I have time to set up one or two flashes quickly. Other times we are on a tight timeline and I have to run and gun with what is quick and a few silhoetts or naturally lit photos are all we can get. Whatever the situation, I will adapt and make stunning images in the time we have.
