Valparaiso Wedding Photographer
It continues to be a crazy spring in North West Indiana this year. The weather seems to swing from winter to a poor attempt at spring almost daily. Thankfully we had a short break in the rain for Elyse and Anthony, but it was still freezing cold all day.
I arrived early in the morning to get some photos of the girls getting hair and make up done. It was and is always a pleasure working with Krissy V Make Up. I have lost count of the weddings I have done with krissy. There is a good reason she is the first make up artist on my list. She does amazing work and is just a beautiful soul. Elyse is naturally photogenic, but she was even more stunning by the time she arrived at Aberdeen Manor.
I had a short break after the make up to go and get details and reception hall photos at Aberdeen Manor. They hall is always stunning at Aberdeen and the staff generally have it ready early. I was able to take my time and hang Elyse’s dress in the Bridal room and hall way. There were some puddles left outside and I just had to take their favors outside and play with reflections. I love reflections!
Due to the cold we raced through some photos really quickly with the girls outside and very quickly with the men separately before the ceremony. Rev. Kluckan was our officiant. Another person I seem to bump into at more and more weddings. He has a unique ability to make everyone laugh and feel at ease through the ceremony while remembering the spiritual and sacramental side of the ceremony for those who choose to incorporate it. Lori Horst from La Petite Florist did an amazing job with the flowers for the girls.
Thanks to Trans Audio we had a rocking reception and great party till late at night. here are some of my favorite photos from the day.
