The Pavilion at Sandy Pines Wedding
The Pavilion at Sandy Pines is a venue I photograph a few times every year.
One of the great things about Sandy Pines is the amazing guest house where brides can get ready. I love the space for all the creative options it offers. Great light, open space and beautiful wood floors make it a dream for photographers. Some venues are so crowded when you have a bunch of people getting hair and makeup done. There is just so much space in the house here.
Jen and Chris chose to go down the road to Hamstra Gardens for a first look and some formal photos before the ceremony. I have no doubt this was one of the most beautiful fist looks I have ever captured. Love has no script! It was just a joy capturing their emotion as they met in the garden. I love being able to throw on a long lens and just let the moment be the moment. A grooms face when he first sees his bride is priceless. It is always one of those must have moments I want to capture. It is hard to recreate the tension and moment compared to walking down the aisle in the ceremony some times. But other times it just seems even more emotional as a groom can just be in the moment and I can stay out the way and steal raw photo moments.
Back at Sandy Pines, the ceremony was short and sweet with a beautiful sunny day and low humidity.
The gentle breeze in the evening made the reception perfect.
Thanks Jen and Chris for letting me capture your day.
