Geena & Cody – Sand Creek Chesterton Indiana Wedding

Sand Creek Country Club is always a lovely venue year round. Early fall is particularly awesome. It’s cool enough to go outside for formals without sweating, and warm enough to not get chilly when we go out on a golf cart for photos with the bride and groom.

Geena & Cody had a wonderful indoor ceremony. This photo sums up the joy well.

Sunset photos are a bonus at most weddings. With schedules to follow it’s not always easy to be outside at the right time. We were outside on the golf corse just before sunset. This was a perfect time to get some awesome silhouette photos of Geena and Cody. I just love how her veil is lit by the golden sunlight. It took a few seconds to set up the best place to get the sun flaring between them.

Their reception was crazy fun with a young crowd dancing all night long. Sand Creek has one of the larger dance floors among local wedding venues.
