Macedonian Wedding Crown Point
Ashley & Michael had a lovely wedding day full of tradition and dancing. Ashley and her bridesmaids got ready at home. After reading a letter from Michael, Ashley and her family danced and celebrated with traditional Macedonian dancing and music. Traditional dances at Macedonian weddings are always fun to photograph.
The ceremony was at Marquette Park Pavilion in Gary with perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony. Ashley and Michael were traditional and did not want to see each other before the ceremony, but they chose to do an awesome first touch in blindfolds and shared a special moment away from everyone talking about the day without seeing each other.
After the ceremony we headed to the St. Peter & Paul Macedonian Banquet Hall in Crown Point. It’s always a beautiful venue. This wedding was even more special with incredible uplighting. The reception was a real celebration with traditional music and dances and a wonderful sparkler send off outside. I love sparkler exits. They are better before everyone drinks too much haha, but they are always fun.
