Harry Potter Themed Wedding – Weddings with a theme are fun! When a couple has something they are passionate about and include it in their wedding, it adds some creative opportunities for photos. Sometimes it’s little details, and other times it’s music, outfits and a whole venue decorated with a theme.

Ryana & Kolby had their ceremony in rural Indiana near Lowell. It was a beautiful Garden ceremony surrounded by trees on three sides and an open field on one side. The fall colors were starting to arrive and the cool breeze made the ceremony perfect.

After the ceremony the reception was at Aberdeen Manor in Valparaiso. When we arrived at Aberdeen Manor it was full of little details. If it had not been obvious to guests at the ceremony, it was very clear at the reception that this was a Harry Potter Themed Wedding.

Little owls and potion bottles were on every table. I enjoyed editing a few of the photos with a more dramatic vintage filter to suit their theme. Rich browns and darker shadows on some photos of the bride and groom and details looked really good and fitted the theme well.
