Garfield Park Conservatory Engagement Session
What do you do when it’s still cold out and you want to get an engagement session done soon. You go somewhere indoors. Better yet, you go somewhere tropical inside.
There are a few options around Chicago if you want to go indoors for an engagement session. The Lincoln Park Conservatory is a lovely option close to downtown Chicago. Garfield Park Conservatory is larger and just as diverse inside.
Leah and Dan were wonderful to work with. We met on a fairly cold day, but sunny thankfully. It was a wonderful feeling walking into the warm tropical conservatory from the cold. We started the session with some fun walking photos and then moved around dodging other visitors.
We spent about an hour walking around and looking for less busy areas. The one drawback of winter photos in a warm public space is the crowds you may run into. A positive of all the crazy covid was the timed entry and limited attendance, so the crowds were not too bad.
I really enjoyed photographing Leah and Dan. I look forward to their wedding later this year at The Lighthouse in Cedar Lake.
