A New Years Eve Fireman Wedding – Scott and Chelsea
What a wonderful day to end the year! Scott and Chelsea had one of the warmest December 31sts I can remember. Our day started with the girls at home doing hair and makeup.
Krissy Vanderwoude was working on Chelsea when I walked in. I always love working with Krissy. In fact when I proposed to my wife, Krissy was our first vendor call and we were so sad she was booked.
From the house we all met at the Dyer Fire Station to do a first look and some formals. A huge advantage and fun part of many fireman weddings is using a firetruck as a backdrop. I had freedom to move the truck where I wanted it. There was limited options, but there was enough space to allow for some great shade on the one side to do the formals.
As soon as I saw this door at the back of the church I knew I wanted to take this photo after the ceremony.
Andrew from Night Shift DJ Service kept the dance floor packed all night. The balloon drop was an epic ending to a fun night of dancing.
