Engagement Session Photos Chicago

Lindsay and Jake wanted Chicago in the spotlight as a background for their engagement session. We started their session at the Lincoln Park Zoo area to get some lovely views of Chicago. It was an overcast muggy day, but the light was lovely and soft. There had been some rain earlier in the day, so the area around the awesome wooden structure was very quiet. It is normally so busy here. We were happy to work around some weather rather than crowds of people.

After some time at the woodland area by the zoo we headed to the Milton Lee Olive Park waterfront for some m ore special city views. The views at the overhanging terrace are always dramatic.

As the sun began to set we headed across the bay to North Avenue Beach. The sunset was not as warm and sunny as I would have liked, but the clouds were dramatic and colorful. We had a lot of fun taking some candid and posed photos with the city in view again.
