Marco and Tereza had a wonderful Chicago Serbian Orthodox Wedding
One of the many awesome things about being a wedding photographer in the Chicago region is the multicultural mixing pot I encounter. Over the last few years I have photographed Jewish, Hindu, Serbian Orthodox, Macedonian, Nigerian and so many other weddings.
I always love to capture the grooms face as the bride walks down the aisle. It is always a special moment, but even more so when a couple does not see each other and this is the first time he sees her.
Serbian orthodox weddings have a lovely tradition of placing crowns on the bride and groom in the ceremony.
Marco and Tereza were such a fun couple to photograph. The love and chemistry was so evident. I do not edit a lot of wedding photos with this darker dramatic look, but I knew these few would look good in a more dramatic edit.
Here is a gallery of some of my favorite photos of the day.
