Ashley was a stunning Bride!
August can be hit and miss for outdoor weddings in North West Indiana. Scott and Ashley chose to gamble on the weather for their Centennial Munster Wedding and won. But they did cut it close haha. When guests first arrived at Centennial Park in Munster it was blue sky and warm. It was a little breezy, but at least the sky was blue and it was warm.
Garden Ceremony
Ashley and Scott chose the garden for their ceremony. There are two main areas for wedding ceremonies at Centennial park. The first is by the Clubhouse and water while the second area is in the garden. On windy days especially, the garden is a great choice. By the time guests and the bride arrived at the ceremony, one side of the sky was dark grey and a storm was rolling in. We knew we were going to have to hurry through formal photos and get inside the clubhouse soon after the ceremony.
As soon as the ceremony was done, we took some formal photos really quickly and managed to walk into the clubhouse as it started to rain.
Centennial Park has so many great areas right by the clubhouse and water to take photos. Since we were in a hurry it helped that we did not have to walk far. We essentially walked back towards the clubhouse and stopped a few times quickly on the way for some group photos before ending with just the bride and groom.
Once inside and safe from the starting rain, the reception could carry on regardless of the weather. As you can see from the photos, it was a fun evening with all kinds of characters on the dance floor all night.
If you enjoyed the Centennial Munster Wedding here is a blog about why I love Centennial Park.
