Buckley Homestead Engagement
Bobbi and Riley wanted an engagement session surrounded by nature. Buckley Homestead in Lowell Indiana was an awesome choice. It is a living historical farm with rustic barns and buildings. I have actually visited it often with my family and the kids love the goats and other animals. There are a few trails to hike, some historic buildings and open spaces.
We started their photos at the barn and found a few areas around the farm area. It was easy taking Bobbi and Rileys photos. They are so comfortable together. It is often a couples first time in front of the camera together at engagement sessions. It can take a while to relax and just be together. But for these two it was just fun and comfortable from the start.
As the sun began to set we moved back to the car park for some photos in the field.
Bobbi and Riley loved the photos at Buckley Homestead so much they wanted to stop there again on wedding day for a quick photo too. As is typical with weddings though, schedules and timing does not always allow for great sunset timing like we could plan on an engagement. We also had less time, but we had pretty decent light, a stunning bride and we got a few awesome photos again.
